Thank you for an *understandable* explanation of 64 bit software and processor requirements. I, too, started with GWS2 lo, these many years ago, and look forward to GWS4… in a 32 bit version, thankyouverymuch.

Finally! A software developer with the guts to explain why bigger is not necessarily better. I have been using GWP since early V2 and have loved every bit of it. I look forward to V4.

FWIW, my background is both hardware and software architecture, dating back to early IBM mainframes (650, 704, 709, 7070, 7090, 360 etc.) It is great to hear truth from a “marketing” company.

I’ve used GWS since Hector was a pup, and have faithfully upgraded through many iterations. I couldn’t live without it and will be sure to hop onto the Version 4 bandwagon as soon as it is available.

I have been using Graphic Workshop since ever I found it back in the 80’s. It does exactly what I want for managing my pictures and graphics. It is great software and has always been a great bargain. I have not had a computer without it in residence if I could. Thank you for a wonderful product and let me get 4 when it is available.

I started using Graphic Workshop for Windows 1.1 in 1995 and ditto the above comments. Best and least expensive of all applications of its type. Thank you Alchemy Mindworks.

I use GWS-PRO3 for our church web site. Have been a fan since version 2. Will upgrade to version 4 as the features are some of those I’ve needed. I like the upgrade price for prior users. Alchemy Mindworks has always provided excellent software at very reasonable prices. Thanks for continuing that excellence with the new versions of your software.

Ditto what Robert Bennett said. Superbly clear and truthful. I’ve lost a lot of data and time backing up/cloning with … I’ll try Clonezilla in the near future. However, I don’t believe it has incremental backup and that is something I would really need. Consequently, I may have to rely on some others …

A superbly clear and detailed explanation of how to use Clonezilla. Many thanks. And when you write, “We’ve used Clonezilla without any ill effects – which is a lot more than we can say of its commercial cousins,” you are describing something that for me is the absolute truth. Some commercial backup software can be a real disaster.
